The exhibition "2012: propositions about the future" presents a glimpse into the future of works from the collection of the Museum of Contemporary Art and guest artists from three lenses: art and science, art and spirituality and art and subject. These outbreaks indicate reciprocal relations and dynamics present in art history, whose settings and approaches change over time. We adopted a dynamic format to mount the show, from a collective process in stages of games, whose choices were building the body of the selected works. The procedure was based on the idea of Marcel Duchamp that art is a game. The curatorial team, consisting of Stephanie Dahn Batista, and the artists and art critics Ana Carolina Rocha, Angelo Luz, Beatrice Steimer, Cleverson Oliveira, Deborah Bruel, Keila Kern, Kings and Paulo Ricardo Corona, formed three groups working under the chosen themes.
