Ca. 15 Künstler aus Frankfurt und Region gehen nacheinander auf die Bühne. Was ist ihre Kunst, welches Projekt planen sie, welche Botschaft haben sie an uns? Beim „Art Slam" wird gezeigt, was Frankfurt schon immer mal sehen sollte, und es wird gesagt, was längst mal gesagt werden müsste. Jeder einzelne Auftritt könnte alles sein - ein Vortrag, ein Manifest, eine Blitzausstellung, eine Power-Point-Präsentation, eine Inszenierung - und ist dabei aber auf genau 5 Minuten begrenzt!

Some 15 artists from Frankfurt and surrounding areas will take the stage in succession. What is their artistic practice? What projects are they planning? What is their message to us? The "Art Slam" reveals what Frankfurt has been needing to see, and people are finally saying what needs to be said. These presentations can take any form - a lecture, a manifesto, a rapid-fire exhibition, a power-point presentation, a staged event - but each one is limited to just 5 minutes!
