Lena Henke, My History of Flow

Lena Henke, My History of Flow

Curated by Anna Goetz

During vast field trips across Europe and the US, artist Lena Henke and curator Anna Goetz have followed the tracks of artists who have pursued radical garden and landscape projects. Henke has archived these visions of spatial outdoor arrangements presented since the 16th century. For her project at SALTS, she will use water to change the interior and exterior architecture of the exhibition space and transform it into a comprehensive sculptural environment. Henke will also present new absurd works referencing New York's famous skyline symbol, the water tank and her extensive catalog of utopic outdoor sites–some of which still exist, others forgotten or never realised.
